Small Historic Oak Bowl - 15cm/6inch
A bowl from a very special piece of wood. This bowl has been turned from a section of an Oak beam that had to be removed from a historic Cambridge college due to some decay on one side. The beam is thought to have been in the college for 500 years and may have been reused from another structure beforehand. The estimate is that the wood itself could be up to 1000 years old.
The usual lovely grain figure from Oak with some repairs to the historic cracking with copper resin.

Finished using Danish Oil
Clean only by wiping with a damp cloth (dry cloth only for charred exterior). Can be re-oiled in the future if needed. Refer to care section of website.
