A piece of Oak that's been turned and scorched on the outside, before sealing with food safe oil. A beautiful Japanese technique called as 'Shou Sugi Ban'.
I love the contrast of the interior and exterior on these peices - not just natural grain vs. charred, but the difference in texture.

Finished using Danish Oil
Clean only by wiping with a damp cloth (dry cloth only for charred exterior). Can be re-oiled in the future if needed. Refer to care section of website.
